Using Systems Thinking

The purpose of any system is to work together to refine and fine tune the product. Having knowledge of all the parts of a system is just as important to the end product because without this knowledge the different parts work parallel but never together. Working with programs within the Lead office have allowed me to address this concept of systems thinking and apply it to the events I have worked on.

For the Alumni Speakers Series it was amazing getting to work with Rodrigo to provide the community with tools to be successful beyond the classroom. Our first event had a few students attend and meaningful conversation. Our second event doubled in size and had even greater conversation. The difference between the events was one involved partnership with another office on campus. Recognizing that two was better than one for this event led to a great outcome.
