Communication is one of the major keys to the success of any organization and that was definitely true with working the LEAD Office. We are always communicating whether it is in a meeting, office hours, events, and even just passing by each other around campus. I think one element I really admired is the level of open communication that flowed through the office. We opened each meeting with an icebreaker which allowed us to communicate what was going on in our lives which really helped strengthen our relationship as an office. This strength transcended through the work we did with other students and offices which for me made my time working in the office so enjoyable. Although we were able to have open communication we also were able to communicate effectively in different situations. I wanted to be able to write emails in a professional way and communicate with others better when working on a project.
